Registered Nurse (RN)

Remote or McAllen, Texas | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
We are looking for dedicated and tech-savvy RNs, LVNs, and LPNs to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the on-boarding and monitoring of referred patients in our Telemonitoring program. Your exceptional communication skills, proficiency with technology, compassion, and commitment to building strong patient relationships will be essential in delivering high-quality care and contributing to our mission of improving patient lives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize excellent communication skills to engage with patients and their families.
  • Interface with multiple technologies for the intake and on-boarding of referred patients to our Telemonitoring program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with patients for various purposes, including service acceptance, device kitting and fulfillment, continuous patient education and coaching, daily patient adherence, and triage of at-risk and critical physiological data.
  • Assist in the creation and fulfillment of research and clinical grants related to telemonitoring.
  • Monitor patient vitals and promptly report concerns to the supervisor as necessary.
  • Provide support and assistance to current clients using our telemonitoring services.
  • Contact physicians/providers when necessary for patient care coordination.
  • Export or print patient reports and assist clients in integrating them into their Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Relay important patient information back to the internal team.
  • Contribute to expanding our telemonitoring footprint services with clients.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


Requirements

Must have a data speed of at least 35 MBPSMust have the ability to directly connect to the internet through an ethernet cableProven experience and valid. licenses/credentials as an RN / LVN / LPNExcellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.Strong ability to work effectively as a team member.Proficiency with technology and familiarity with Google Suite.Must be available to work weekends.

MAs (Medical Assistants)

McAllen, Texas | Full-time

Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interview patients, measure vital signs (e.g., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and record information on patients' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients. Inform patients of costs for care being provided and guide them to appropriate resources for further information. Type routine correspondence and reports from dictation or handwritten copy. Answer telephones, screen callers, relay messages, and greet visitors.

Requires a high school diploma and medical assistant certificate and 0-2 years of experience in a related field. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks.  Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Work under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit

  • Prepare patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room

  • Perform preliminary physical tests; take blood pressure, weight and temperature; report patient history summary

  • Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential

  • Counsel patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about surgery

  • Educate patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions; answering questions

  • Schedule surgeries by making arrangements with the surgical center, verifying times with patients and preparing charts, pre-admission and consent forms

  • Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

  • Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt

  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs
